Welcome

First of all, HUGE congratulations on your wedding! This is an exciting time, and we would be honored to capture your big day.

CHITRALOY deeply respects our clients' emotions, and our goal is to build a great relationship through our service. Our approach is to show up to your wedding as "friends with cameras" for authentic, natural documentation.

• Sole Photography Team: To ensure we document every aspect of your event without interference, we strongly advise against hiring other professional photo/video teams. If you plan to hire another professional team, you must consult with us before booking; otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
• Venue Rules: The client understands that our photographers must abide by the rules and restrictions set by the ceremony or reception venue.
• Meals: We kindly request that you provide standard meals for our team during your event.

Booking, Payment & Cancellations

• Confirmation: A 50% non-refundable advance payment is required to confirm your booking date.
• Balance Due: The remaining 50% is due on the event date. No digital or physical deliveries will be made until the final payment is cleared.
• Online Payments: Clients must provide a valid transaction receipt or screenshot for online payments. We cannot confirm payments without valid documentation.
• Rescheduling & Client Cancellation: If your event is unexpectedly postponed, we offer free rescheduling (please consult us regarding availability before fixing a new date). If the client cancels entirely, the 50% advance deposit acts as the cancellation fee and is strictly non-refundable.
• Company Cancellation: CHITRALOY reserves the right to cancel with at least 20 days' prior notice, in which case a full refund will be provided.

During the Event

It is your event, and we want you to enjoy it according to your plan. When you look at your album 10 years from now, we want you to remember how you felt, not that a photographer was directing your every move.

• Time Slots: Our standard day event slot is 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM, and our night slot is 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM. We calculate our time strictly based on your booking information.
• Cooperation & Punctuality: A perfect couple's portrait session requires a minimum of 1 uninterrupted hour in a preferably empty venue. We highly recommend finishing this shoot before guests arrive. We cannot accept complaints about missed shots if we are not provided with adequate time and cooperation.
• Environment: Your event's decor, lighting, venue, makeup, and attire are the core resources of wedding photography. Please ensure these elements are ready to achieve the best possible results.
• Safety: Our team members reserve the right to terminate the assignment and immediately leave the location if they experience a threatening, hostile, inappropriate, or offensive environment.

Delivery, Editing & Storage

CHITRALOY edits all usable images with great care to ensure no special moments are missed. We believe in natural beauty and generally avoid heavy skin smoothing. If you specifically require skin smoothing, please let us know.

• Raw Files: We do not provide raw photos or raw videos under any circumstances.
• Delivery: Files will be delivered via Google Drive or client's pendrive. Pendrive is included only in Signature and Premium packages.
• Print Selection: Clients must select photos for printing and share them with us via Google Drive within 30 days of receiving soft copies.
• Dispatch & Liability: Printed copies and pen drives will be dispatched via courier (courier fees paid by the client). We are not liable for damage or loss occurring during transit. If printed copies are not finalized and claimed within 15 days of printing, we hold no responsibility for their loss.
• Data Retention: All files are permanently removed from Google Drive 15 days after the final delivery date. Please ensure you double-backup all delivered files.
• Data Loss: If technical issues on our end cause file loss before delivery, we will refund that specific portion of the package.

Fees & Timelines

Copyright & Social Media

• Ownership: CHITRALOY retains the creative rights and copyright to all captured photos and videos.
• Personal Use: We happily permit clients to make copies of the images to share with friends and family. However, images cannot be used for commercial purposes without our explicit written consent.
• Promotional Publishing: We reserve the right to edit and release footage for the promotion of our webpages, social media channels, publications, and advertising media.
• Privacy Opt-Out: If you do not want your photos or videos used for our promotional purposes, you must notify us ahead of time. Please note that an additional privacy fee will apply for exclusive rights.

Destination Events (Outside Dhaka & Chittagong)

We are willing to shoot anywhere in this universe (conditions apply)!

• Travel & Accommodation: For services outside Dhaka, the client is fully responsible for covering standard travel, food, and accommodation costs for the team.
• Shift Charge: A 15% shift charge will be added to the standard package rate for events outside Dhaka and Chittagong.
• Sequential Dates: Bookings outside Dhaka are priced based on consecutive dates. Non-sequential events will incur additional fees.
• Security & Transport: The client is required to provide dedicated local transportation for our team for security purposes and to protect irreplaceable equipment and files.
